A very patient friend taught me how to bead.
The Geisha Amulet is made using Peyote stitch. Pattern is from Australian magazine Cross Stitch and Beading
It was trial and error at first before I figured out this pattern.
The flower reminds me a little of a birds nest.
Nice beadwork! I just came across the Cross Stitch and Beading magazine. Issue from Nov. 2010. Can't wait to try the beaded seashell patterns
